AIRR region: Novosibirsk region. Innovative technologies in the industrial sector

From March 26 to 29, at the Novosibirsk Expo Center International Exhibition Complex, as part of the international industrial exhibition and forum MashExpo Siberia-2024, events will be held to introduce innovative technologies into the industrial sector.

“MashExpo Siberia-2024” will bring together leaders of industrial production and top officials of industry ministries, professional associations and associations, the Novosibirsk Regional Innovation Fund told AIRR. More than 150 manufacturers and suppliers from Russia, Turkey, and Belarus will present an extensive exhibition of metalworking machines, tools and materials for metalworking and welding.

On March 27, 2024, as part of the forum, the Novosibirsk Regional Innovation Fund will organize two events for industrial and innovative companies and invite participants.

The first is the conference “Support Tools for Small and Medium Businesses”, where the program of grant support for projects for the development of design documentation for components for various industries will be discussed, with the participation of representatives of the Agency for Technological Development.

The second is a round table “Innovative projects on current thematic areas within the framework of MashExpo Siberia-2024: discussion and pitching.” The pitch session will feature projects by Novosibirsk developers on automation and robotization of production, innovative solutions for occupational safety, industrial equipment for welding machines, as well as environmental projects - systems for environmental monitoring of emissions and waste disposal using digital technologies.

The Novosibirsk Regional Innovation Fund accompanies scientific, technological and innovative projects by attracting state and non-state financial, organizational, human and other resources for the implementation of projects, the gradual transition of projects to the next stage of development, from idea to industrial implementation. The Foundation is the regional representative of the Skolkovo Foundation and the Innovation Promotion Foundation. An agreement with the Agency for Technological Development allows the Fund to make maximum use of existing tools of federal development institutions for industrial projects.

Let us remind you that the Novosibirsk region has been a member of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia since 2010. The region is distinguished by a high rate of development of innovative technologies. Representatives of the region, as part of the AIRR delegation, take part in off-site meetings and online events, share their own developments in the field of innovation, and make proposals to improve the innovation climate in the country. The AIRR delegation, in turn, visits the region on working visits, in particular, took part in the X International Forum of Technological Development “Technoprom-2023”, in a round table on the topic: “Regional programs of scientific and technological development: an effective tool for regional development.”
