Bashkortostan plans to increase the number of industrial and technology parks to 50 by 2024

The areas of the Ufimsky industrial park are 98% full. In 2022, the number of residents increased by 50% - from 10 to 15, the press service of the republican government reported.

According to the estimates of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of Bashkiria Alexander Sheldyaev, this trend is typical for the region as a whole. “There are 12 industrial parks and 18 technology parks in Bashkortostan. Today they are 90% full. Therefore, we are actively working to increase their number and by 2024 we set a goal to reach 50 parks”, - he said.

Residents of industrial and technology parks of the republic receive the following support measures: from the federal budget they subsidize interest on loans for the implementation of investment projects for the creation, expansion and development of parks; management companies of special industrial territories are exempt from corporate property tax for up to 10 years, and also receive a subsidy for creation of infrastructure.

The total area of the Ufimsky industrial park is almost 300 hectares. The total investment volume of its residents is 35 billion rubles. The park is home to industries engaged in woodworking, plastic and rubber products, furniture and agricultural machinery.

The first resident of the park area of 20 thousand square meters. m became the manufacturer of grain cleaning equipment "Trading House "Artagro". One of the buildings is occupied by the road paint manufacturer Azimut. It plans to start production in early 2023. Turkish investor SANICA PIPE, which produces plumbing fixtures and plastic pipes, is preparing documents for the import of equipment to Bashkiria.

The Republic of Bashkortostan has been a member of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia since 2012. In the SMART region ranking for 2021, Bashkiria shows its strengths in the following areas: media activity, anti-crisis support and development of SMEs, sustainable development. The SMART rating is monitoring a number of the most important indicators of the development of constituent entities of the Russian Federation in order to clarify the necessary anti-crisis measures and make management decisions.
