Technological Sovereignty In Perm Krai, production has begun on a domestically developed dual-pump cementing unit for the oil and gas sector, previously sourced exclusively from abroad. The equipment was fully designed by Russian specialists, including an intelligent control system, automatic solution mixing, and data collection capabilities.
In Irkutsk Region, the first serial fully import-substituted MC-21 aircraft took to the skies. At the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, 18 aircraft are at various stages of completion, with final production and flight test procedures being refined in parallel to transition to serial deliveries.
Science as Part of Industrial Policy The Government of Russia is forming a new model for managing scientific and technological development. By October 27, a “roadmap” must be prepared for developing technology plans, specifying responsible agencies, timelines, and required resources. Digital Transformation of Regions In Kaluga, the All-Russian Forum “Digital Evolution” brought together more than 1,000 representatives from government bodies and the IT business from nearly all Russian regions. Innovation Ecosystem In Vladimir Region, plans are underway to establish a regional branch of the Small Academy of Sciences “Eureka” in the Pokrov district. The project’s goal is to engage children and youth in research, project-based, and engineering activities and to build the territory’s human capital.
Industry In Novgorod Region, further development of Rostec State Corporation enterprises is being discussed. These enterprises provide thousands of jobs and implement investment projects. Among the corporation’s focus areas are artificial intelligence, robotics, and the production of high-tech products for civilian sectors.
Mordovia continues to expand its industrial base and investment potential. Priorities include developing industry, agriculture, and infrastructure with support from the federal center. The Head of the Republic, Artem Zdunov, discussed priority goals and objectives with Igor Komarov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District.
